DEADLINE IS MONDAY TO PURCHASE TICKETS FOR BASIN WIDE FOUNDATION AWARDS DINNER

Every year, the Basin Wide Foundation honors members of the community who give of themselves to serve the Morongo Basin at its annual awards dinner. This year, at the 22 nd annual awards dinner, the Lifetime Achievement award will go to Ellin Loveless, who has given more than 50 years of dedicated service to the Morongo Basin community. Walter Combs, of Pacific Clinics will be honored with the Above and Beyond award. Robin Schlosser of Reach Out Morongo Basin will receive the President’s Award. The Cultural Contributor award goes to Yucca Valley High School music director Bill Barrett. The Way Station is Non-Profit of the Year. Supportive Business of the Year is Hi-Desert Air, owned by Lance and Kari Cody. Paul Hoffman is Volunteer of the Year for his work as president of the Joshua Tree Rotary Club and Mara’s Christmas Wish. Whitney Nemeth of the Boys and Girls Club of the Hi-Desert will be honored as Youth Volunteer of the Year. And Fire Station 41 in Yucca Valley will receive the Together We Can Award.
