Caltrans is seeking public comment on planned improvements to Highway 62 in Joshua Tree. The plan calls for the addition of a center turn lane on four sections of highway. The project aims to reduce the number and severity of collisions. The project is expected to take 18 months and comes with a $5.5 million dollar price tag. Public comments go to [email protected]. Deadline for comments is February 3.
