On Tuesday September 6th – Sheriffs were called to check on a vehicle that was parked and appeared incapacitated on the side of the road near Samarkand Drive in Twentynine Palms. When deputies arrived they found a body near the automobile – there were no life signs and Sheriffs transferred the body to the coroner’s office. Sheriffs say there were no signs of foul play and the identity of the body is being withheld until family can be notified.
