The Twentynine Palms Wildcats had their end-of-the-season banquet this past weekend and announced the De Anza League selections from the 2013 football team. Talo Wilson was named Special Teams MVP and a first team All-League selection. Five other Wildcats joined Wilson on the first team: seniors Darren Murphy, Jake Culver, A.J. Rangel, and junior Dylan Martinez. Second Team selections included seniors Cole Estrada and Alex Chavez, junior Josh Alderson, and sophomore standouts Andrew Wilson, and Beayahn Carrllo. Alonzo Tate was selected as Honorable Mention. The Wildcats tied for second in league and advanced to the first round of the CIF playoffs. Head Coach Ernest Martinez said, “The coaching staff is extremely proud of the efforts of the team this season, and the players who made the All-League team.”
