The Disabled American Veterans Morongo Basin Chapter #60 will hold its third air rifle shooting competition in Twentynine Palms October 7 on board the Marine base. All veterans are welcome, and all disabilities will be accommodated. Register by 4 p.m. Friday, September 15. Sign in and range safety instruction will be given at 7:30 a.m. October 7, and the competition begins at 9 a.m. This is a family-friendly event; absolutely no alcohol is allowed.
