Dark Sky Lighting Workshop this Friday (2/7) at Copper Mountain Mesa Community Association

Learn about San Bernardino County’s Dark Sky ordinance with a Dark Sky Lighting Workshop this Friday, February 7 at the Copper Mountain Mesa Community Association. The 6:00 p.m. workshop will feature presentations from Steve Bardwell of the Morongo Basin Conservation Association, and lighting designer Kathy Pryzgoda.

A range of topics will be covered, including: The importance of preserving dark skies; Tips for selecting attractive, effective, and compliant lighting; How to bring existing lighting into compliance and Strategies for discussing lighting concerns with neighbors. 

This community event is free and open to all – it starts at 6:00 on Friday at the Copper Mountain Mesa Community Association at 65336 Winters Road in Joshua Tree.
