Cub Scout Pack 903 in Yucca Valley is holding their annual recruitment night this Saturday September 13, at the Yucca Valley Senior center. Cub Scouts is a non-profit organization whose goal is to guide boys from 1st through 5th grade into smart, thoughtful young teens and then ultimately into responsible adults. The recruitment night is going to be held from 3 P.M. until 5 P.M., refreshments will be available for purchase (1 slice of pizza and a bottle of water for $1.50). They are holding the meeting to introduce interested boys and their parents to what Scouting is and what it has to offer them. Fees are $10 month and a yearly registration fee of $25. Pack 903 Wolf Den Leader Shawn Sullivan says Scouting provides a year round activity to keep boys out of trouble and on the right path to adulthood.
