A Sheriff’s deputy is investigating a case of credit card fraud. About 1 p.m. Thursday, a Twentynine Palms resident called to report that five purchases at different Domino’s locations were made to two of her credit cards. The card owner said she had her credit cards saved onto the Domino’s app . Each purchase was made with a different name and phone number. The deputy learned that the names belonged to real people who paid an unknown person on Instagram money to place the orders for them. The suspect was charging less than what the Domino’s order was worth, and pocketed the money from the people who placed the order.
