CRASH REVEALS STOLEN VEHICLES, SUSPECTED DUI DRIVER, IN YUCCA VALLEY

A Garden Grove man, believed to be high on drugs and towing a stolen trailer, was arrested following a crash in Yucca Valley Tuesday morning. Deputies say Michael Holman, 55, was driving a Jeep Liberty and towing an enclosed trailer when he crashed into a Ford F150 pick-up truck and the trailer rolled onto its side. According to deputies, Holman and his passenger, Jacquelyn Quintanilla, 30, also of Garden Grove, were determined to be under the influence of drugs. And, deputies learned, the trailer had been reported stolen from a Boy Scout troop in Irvine, and the all-terrain vehicle inside the trailer had been reported stolen in Westminster. Deputies also found more stolen property belonging to the Boy Scout troop inside the trailer. Michael Holman and Jacquelyn Quintanilla were arrested for investigation of being in possession of stolen property, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, and released on $25,000 bail.
