A two-vehicle crash on the Morongo Grade closed Highway 62 for about two hours Wednesday night. About 9:20, two cars collided in the steep, winding section of the westbound highway just north of Indian Canyon. The roads were closed at Hess Boulevard in Morongo Valley and re-opened about 11:20. One man was injured and taken to Desert Hospital in Palm Springs. The California Highway Patrol has not released details about what caused the crash.
