About 1,250 customers of Southern California Edison were without power for more than two hours in parts of Twentynine Palms early Thursday morning due to a crash on Highway 62. At about 4 a.m., a dark-colored 4-door sedan, traveling westbound on the highway, hit a telephone pole and an Edison power pole near Monte Vista Avenue, in the Indian Cove area, just west of Lear Avenue. The car rolled several times. One occupant inside the vehicle suffered minor injuries and was transported by MBA to Hi-Desert Medical Center.
