COVID OMICRON CASES SPIKE IN SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY

According to the County dashboard, to date (1/10/22), a total of 1036 people have died from Covid in San Bernardino County, 930, about 90% of those, were unvaccinated.

Joshua Tree has seen 758 cases, 11 deaths and is 48.9% vaccinated

Landers, 28 cases, 2 deaths, and the lowest vaccination rate at 34.7%

Morongo Valley, 322 cases, 2 deaths, 53.9% vaccinated

Pioneertown has 24 cases and no deaths and takes the lead being 105% vaccinated *

29 Palms has 2,354 cases, 19 deaths and is 36% vaccinated **

Yucca Valley has 2,908 cases, 62 deaths, and is 65% vaccinated

*Some non-residents took advantage of a vaccination clinic in Pioneertown

**Twentynine Palms vaccination figures do not include the Marine Base
