The Town of Yucca Valley will host a county COVID-19 vaccination clinic at the Yucca Valley Community Center (57090 Twentynine Palms Highway) Monday (August 30) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The FDA approved Pfizer vaccine will be available to county residents age 12 and older (residents under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian present). The one-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine is also available for residents 18 and older. The town is offering $50 gift certificates to Grocery Outlet for the first 50 participants who make and complete appointments for the event at https://myturn.ca.gov/ or by calling (833) 422-4255. (Any remaining gift certificates will be handed out to walk-in participants on a first-come, first-served basis.) The town is also offering free transportation to the clinic, call Morongo Basin Transit Authority (MTBA) at (760) 366-2395 to schedule a ride.
