COVID 19 BOOSTERS TO BE AVAILABLE FOR CHILDREN AGES 5-11

COVID-19 booster doses for children ages 5-11 are expected to be available this week. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has authorized the use of a single booster dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine for 5 to 11-year-olds at least 5 months after completion of a primary series of Pfizer. These pediatric booster shots could become available to the public as early as today. Once available, San Bernardino County residents can make a booster vaccine appointment by visiting sbcovid19.com/vaccine or by calling the COVID Hotline at (909) 387-3911.
