COUPLE ARRESTED IN FLAMINGO HEIGHTS WITH STOLEN VEHICLE AND ID

A couple from Banning was arrested early Wednesday in the Flamingo Heights area of Yucca Valley after they were found with a stolen vehicle and stolen identification. About 12:20 a.m., a deputy made a traffic stop near Old Woman Springs Road and Mira Street. When the deputy determined that Marco Valenzuela, 26, was on felony probation from Riverside County, a search was made of the vehicle. The deputy discovered evidence of identity theft and drug paraphernalia. Jazmine Lovings, 26, said she and Valenzuela were staying in the area, and the search moved to the new location. The deputy discovered a stolen trailer where the couple had been staying. Marco Valenzuela and Jazmine Lovings were arrested on suspicion of identity theft and possession of a stolen vehicle, booked into the West Valley Detention Center, with their bail set at $50,000 each.
