County supervisors meet in special session tomorrow at 10 a.m. in San Bernardino. Hold on to your wallet; reporter Mike Lipsitz tells us what’s on the agenda…
The one public item on tomorrow’s agenda is a review of proposed fees levied by the county, board governed special districts, and other agencies for the 2020-2021 fiscal year. The more than 1,500-page fee schedule details 120 new fees and 79 fees that will be dropped. The proposed revisions affect a third of all county fees and are needed to ensure full cost recovery. They cover everything from application processing to the coroner’s private autopsy fees.
