San Bernardino County announced that two large sites will vaccinate large numbers of people against the novel coronavirus starting next week. Vaccinations for 3,500 people, with an emphasis on those over 65, though front-line health care workers and first responders are also eligible, will be given at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana starting Tuesday, February 2. The county said it will announce the process for making appointments today (Friday, January 29), according to a county newsletter.
Another site, the Ontario Convention Center, will begin next week to accept appointments Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The first day of vaccinations at the convention center will be Thursday, February 4, according to the newsletter.
