At tomorrow’s 10 a.m. meeting of the County Board of Supervisors, the expected passage of a new ordinance will establish an expedited, streamlined permitting process for small residential rooftop solar systems on single family homes and duplexes. Qualifying systems must be no larger than 10 kilowatts alternating or 30 kilowatts thermal. The board is also expected to make official the appointment of Mark Lundquist as third district field rep for Morongo Basin. Tomorrow’s meeting, and every board of supervisor’s meeting, will be broadcast live to the first floor teleconferencing room in the County Government Building on White Feather Road. Public comment may also be made via live video link from that location.
