Several items of interest to our Morongo Basin come up at tomorrow’s 10 a.m. board of supervisors meeting in San Bernardino. Separate public hearings will be convened to officially declare results of last month’s mail ballot elections asking residents of Flamingo Heights and Yucca Mesa to increase the current service charge for road maintenance. In all cases, residents voted to leave the annual service charges as they are and continue with the current minimum road maintenance as it now stands. Also tomorrow, supervisors will approve a $200,000 increase in the contract to provide law enforcement services to the Town of Yucca Valley.
Tomorrow’s meeting streams online and to the first-floor teleconferencing room in the County Government Center on White Feather Road in Joshua Tree where public comment may be made via live video link.
