COUNTY SUPERVISORS MEET TOMORROW, 2 LOCAL ITEMS ON THE AGENDA

At tomorrow’s regular 10 a.m. meeting of county supervisors in San Bernardino, two agenda items are specific to our Morongo Basin.

Reporter Mike Lipsitz tells us what they are…

First, supervisors are expected to adopt a resolution that will re-establish the Morongo Basin Municipal Advisory Council and open the process for selecting nine area voters, one from each unincorporated community represented. And in other business, the board is expected to designate Hi-Desert Medical Center as an Acute Stroke Ready Hospital; a classification that will make the hospital a new option for EMS units to transport stroke victims when time to treatment is critical.

Any person interested in viewing or addressing the board by interactive video may do so at the Joshua Tree Government Center, at 63665 Twentynine Palms Highway, Joshua Tree, CA 92252
