COUNTY SUPERVISORS MAKE LOCAL APPOINTMENTS

County supervisors yesterday approved seven delegates to the newly-formed Morongo Basin Municipal Advisory Council, or MAC, under Third District Supervisor Dawn Rowe. First time delegates Ellen Jackman and Steven Reyes will represent Joshua Tree and Wonder Valley respectively. Hold-overs from James Ramos’ MAC include Steve Bardwell representing the Pioneertown communities, Pat Flanagan for Desert Heights, Gayl Swarat for Morongo Valley, Mary Helen Tuttle for Copper Mountain Mesa, and Tom Ziegert for Yucca Mesa. Seats for both Landers and Flamingo Heights remain open as no one has yet applied. Also yesterday, Catherine Inscore of Twentynine Palms was reappointed to serve as the Third District Representative on the county’s Behavioral Health Commission.
