COUNTY SUPERVISOR AT HOMESTEAD VALLEY COMMUNITY COUNCIL MEETING MONDAY

Third District County Supervisor James Ramos will make an appearance at the Homestead Valley Community Council meeting Monday, August 17. Ramos will give updates on the county’s ban on new construction of private property that relies on hauled water, and on the campaign for scenic highway status for Highway 247. In addition, State Senator Jean Fuller’s field representative Jim Schooler will also be at the meeting, along with representatives from county fire and the Sheriff’s department. The meeting begins at 3 p.m. at the Yucca Mesa Community Center, 3133 Balsa Avenue, just off Aberdeen Road.
