You don’t have to look far to see that our Morongo Basin is blessed with a rich culture and thriving arts community. Now the county wants to help take culture and arts here to the next level. Reporter Mike Lipsitz tells us how to see what is being planned…
A presentation on the Morongo Basin Strategic Plan for Culture and the Arts is one of only two items on the agenda at tomorrow’s 9 a.m. meeting of the County Planning Commission in San Bernardino. The commission is expected to receive a half hour presentation on the plan as the second item of business. The plan aims to capitalize on existing resources to enhance our local culture and arts sector by making it stronger, more accessible, and more sustainable. The public may attend the presentation in person at the County Government Center on North Arrowhead Avenue in San Bernardino or via live video link from the first-floor teleconferencing room at the Bob Burke Building next to the Court House on White Feather Road in Joshua Tree.
