COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION LOOKS AT JOSHUA TREE CELL TOWER

The county’s planning commission will be asked to give its stamp of approval to a conditional use permit for a 55-foot cell phone tower, designed as a sign, in Joshua Tree. The project will also include 12-panel antennas, a 30-foot by 30-foot block building, a 30-kilowatt generator, and two GPS antennas. The project will be located at the site of Sky Valley Chapel, 7475 Sunny Vista Road. The meeting is set for 9 a.m. Thursday, September 3, in the Covington Chambers on the first floor of the county building, 385 North Arrowhead Avenue, in San Bernardino.
