The county updated its stay-at-home order Thursday to allow certain activities to resume. Starting today, county, city, and private parks, lakes, trails, golf courses, tennis courts, and dog parks can open on a limited scale for passive recreation. However, residents are still required to maintain social distancing and wear masks and are not allowed to congregate with people other than those who are in their households. The county says that pools, beaches, outdoor amphitheaters, amusement parks, playgrounds, picnic areas, and campgrounds are still closed.
As of Thursday, 77 San Bernardino County residents have died from COVID-19, and 1,608 have tested positive.
