The State Fair Political Practices Commission has fined a county elected official. County Auditor-Controller/Treasurer/Tax Collector Larry Walker was a successful candidate in 2010 and 2014 elections. The Committee found Walker failed to timely pay the 2013 and 2014 $50 annual fees to the Secretary of State’s office, in violation of Government Code. He was fined $400 for two counts.
