Appointments are now available for San Bernardino County’s flu shot/COVID test day at Copper Mountain College in Joshua Tree, on Friday, October 30. There are 350 appointment slots available as well as limited openings for walk-ins. This is a great opportunity for Morongo Basin residents who have not yet received their flu shot, don’t have insurance, or are unable to afford the copay for their flu shot. The appointment system will ask for insurance to help defray the cost of the COVID test, but insurance is not required for either the COVID test or the flu shot, and there is no out-of-pocket cost.
