COUNTY MAKES LOCAL MAC AND CEMETERY BOARD APPOINTMENTS

At yesterday’s meeting of the Board of Supervisors, county leadership approved the appointment of Michelle Myers to the Morongo Basin Municipal Advisory Council. Myers is a licensed attorney and will represent residents of Pioneertown on the advisory board. In other actions, the board approved the appointment of Mary Kay Sherry to the Twentynine Palms Cemetery District; two weeks ago, they appointed Rebecca Rinkes to the cemetery board. Yesterday’s Board of Supervisor’s meeting was adjourned in memory of long-time Twentynine Palms booster, community volunteer, and substitute teacher, Zander Harden, who passed away last month.
