COUNTY LIBRARIES LAUNCHING READ CRATE PROGRAM

The San Bernardino County Library system will be launching its Read Crate program January 19 to promote reading amongst children to 11 years old. Reporter Joshua King has more details…

The Read Crate is a box for inspired youth readers that includes an assorted mix of books, a special incentive, and is separated into three distinct age groups. The Read to Me crate is for readers aged 0 to 5 and contains a mix of 10 board and picture books. The Ready to Read crate, for readers aged 6 to 8, contains a mix of 10 picture books, easy reading, and non-fiction books. Finally, the Super Reader crate is for readers aged 9 to 11, and provides a mix of 10 chapter books, graphic novels, and non-fiction books.

To enroll in the program, call your local San Bernardino County Library branch and schedule a time for pickup.
