COUNTY LAUNCHES LIVE STREAMING OF COURT PROCEEDINGS

The San Bernardino County Court system announced that starting Monday, July 20, it will launch live audio streaming for criminal court proceedings throughout the county. Residents will be able to listen to court proceedings remotely instead of going to the courthouse in person. The audio proceedings will be rolled out incrementally by August 31 throughout the county. Due to privacy issues, juvenile cases are excluded from the live audio streaming. No registration is required, simply log onto the court’s website.

In addition, the court system has again limited access to all court proceedings to judges, attorneys, defendants, court staff, and witnesses.
