The Community Action Partnership of San Bernardino County food banks remain open during the coronavirus pandemic as an “essential service.” But help is needed to keep the food banks open. For more information, here is Reporter Hilary Sloane…
The Community Action Partnership of San Bernardino County food bank, which makes food available to those in need in our Morongo Basin and elsewhere in the county, needs help. It needs financial donations, food donations, and volunteers. Several distribution sites have closed due to senior volunteers staying home. As the need for food assistance continues to grow, it becomes even more crucial to have distribution sites stay open with people to staff them. The food banks are taking every precaution to safeguard the health and safety of their volunteers and staff.
