Today (April 24) through Saturday the 30th is National Crime Victims Month. In commemoration, the County District Attorney’s Office is hosting its seventh annual National Crime Victims’ Rights Week Memorials to raise awareness about crime victims’ issues and rights and introduce the community to the important resources and services available. The D.A.’s Office will host a West Valley Memorial Tomorrow (April 25) at Central Park in the City of Rancho Cucamonga, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. They will also host a High Desert Memorial Wednesday (April 27) at the Civic Center Park Amphitheater in the Town of Apple Valley from noon to 1 p.m. For additional information about this year’s events and how to assist crime victims in your own community, call (909) 382-3665 or visit the website at www.sbcountyda.org.
