COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH REPORTS ZERO LOCAL CASES OF CORONA VIRUS

The San Bernardino County Department of Public Health is continuing to work with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the California Department of Public Health to monitor reports of coronavirus (COVID-19) from across the State. According to the recent report, no cases of coronavirus have been reported in San Bernardino County, and health risk from coronavirus to the general public in the County remains low at this time. A total of 40 cases of coronavirus have been reported in California since March 1. To protect your health and the health of those around you: Wash your hands with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol; avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands and avoid close contact with people who are sick. If you become sick with respiratory symptoms like fever and cough; stay away from work, school, or other people to avoid spreading illness and seek assistance from your healthcare provider.
