The San Bernardino County Court system has initiated a free online system for people requesting a restraining order due to domestic violence. The applicant for a restraining order answers a few questions on the court’s website. The request can then be submitted to the court electronically 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The restraining order request will be processed by the next business day, and applicants will be notified via the website about the time and location for their hearing date with the judge, thus eliminating the need to come to the court house to obtain, complete, and file the request for the restraining order. The website link to file a restraining order request can be found with this story at Z1077fm.com. For more information, call Sharon Bragg at 909-521-3448.
