The County Committee on School District Organization will meet tonight to review the Morongo Unified School District’s process of transitioning to by-trustee area elections, ensuring that the board took appropriate steps in informing the public during the transition. A public hearing will take place to allow for public comments and members of the MUSD board of trustees will be present during the meeting to make comments. The meeting will take place at 6 p.m. at Joshua Tree Elementary School, located at 4950 Sunburst Avenue in Joshua Tree.
