The County of San Bernardino Public Health Department issued clarifications Thursday to its order cancelling all public or private gatherings of people through April 6. The order applies to any event that brings people together in a single space at the same time, and includes house parties, family reunions, church and religious events, weddings, funerals, picnics, festivals, quinceañeras, and similar gatherings. The order also includes the closing of all movie theaters, gyms, health clubs, and businesses that serve alcohol but not food. It does not include hair and nail salons, and massage clinics. All businesses that remain open are urged to follow social distancing standards.
