COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEET TOMORROW

Tomorrow’s regular semimonthly meeting of the County Board of Supervisors in San Bernardino will be anything but regular. Reporter Mike Lipsitz explains…

Last week Governor Gavin Newsom suspended certain provisions of the Ralph M. Brown Act, California’s open meeting law. The move is part of an effort to promote social distancing and slow the spread of the coronavirus, will keeping public meetings public. So in a move that we will undoubtedly be seeing more of, members of the public are encouraged to watch a live stream of the meeting online and participate via email. The public may still attend the meeting at the County Government Center in San Bernardino, but each attendee will be required to maintain a six foot social distance from others. For a link to the live stream of tomorrow’s meeting and instructions on commenting either in advance or during the meeting, go to: https://www.sbcounty.gov/uploads/cob/Meeting_Participation_(Final_3-19).pdf
