COUNTY, AIRBNB AGREE ON COLLECTION OF JOSHUA TREE OCCUPANCY TAXES

Airbnb and San Bernardino County have agreed to let the popular home-sharing service collect transient occupancy taxes from guests and hosts in Joshua Tree, Lake Arrowhead, and other unincorporated areas of the county. “It’s been a priority for Airbnb as a company to engage with and work with local jurisdictions on all things related to short-term rentals,” said an Airbnb spokesman.
