Counterfeit bills were found in a vacant home in Yucca Valley Tuesday afternoon. According to a Sheriff’s report, the home in the 55400 block of Onaga Trail was in foreclosure, and when an employee from the foreclosure company went to the home about 3:30 Tuesday, he found a safe with $200 in counterfeit bills, all with the same serial number printed on them. The Sheriff’s Department took the funny money and is investigating. Anyone with information should call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.
