There will be a counseling event at Yucca Valley High School Thursday night. It includes a demo of Naviance, a “college and career readiness platform” (i.e., computer software) that “helps connect academic achievement to post-secondary goals.” Counselors and subject teachers will be on hand, and help with getting on the student portal to check grades and attendance will be available. Also on hand: Free pizza.
The event will be in the school library from 6 to 8 pm.
