CORONER IDENTIFIES TWENTYNINE PALMS WOMAN KILLED IN CRASH MONDAY

The county coroner has identified the woman who was killed in a crash in Twentynine Palms Monday morning. Julia Diogenes, 19, of Twentynine Palms, was driving a 2013 Honda Civic on Rose Ellen Avenue about 7:05 a.m. when she failed to stop at the stop sign at Sunnyslope Road. She entered the intersection in front of a 2007 Dodge Ram, which hit her Honda, killing her at the scene. The Sheriff’s Department is investigating.
