CORONER IDENTIFIES MAN KILLED ON THE HIGHWAY IN TWENTYNINE PALMS TUESDAY

The coroner’s office has identified the man who was killed when he was hit by a car in Twentynine Palms Tuesday morning. Antonio Prada, 62, was walking northbound across the highway, outside of a crosswalk, near Encelia Avenue about 5:35 a.m. when he was hit by a 2018 Chevrolet Impala driven by a 35-year-old woman from Washington, D.C. Antonio Prada was pronounced deceased at the scene.
