COPPER MOUNTAIN COLLEGE UPGRADING GREEN ENERGY PROGRAMS

At the board meeting earlier this month, the Copper Mountain College Board of Trustees approved a $1.1 million contract to build a solar carport, electric vehicle charging systems, and upgrades to heating and air conditioning systems, the recycling program, and the lighting under existing solar structures. Funding for the project will come from a Susan Luckie Reilly donation ($500,000), CARES Act ($65,204), EV rebates ($127,000), Bell funds ($488,315), and a recycling grant ($5,000).
