The Palm Springs Power baseball team is a summer collegiate team comprised of elite college players from all across the nation, as well as the Coachella Valley. Over the past three years, the Power team has led all nationally recognized summer collegiate teams in win percentage; since 2004, 55 of its players have been drafted by Major League Baseball. Copper Mountain College will be celebrated at the Palm Springs Power, a summer collegiate team, Baseball Game on Saturday, July 12. Join CMC as Max Proudfoot throws out the first pitch at this 7 PM ballgame. Tickets are $11 each and include the game, a hot dog, chips and soda. Five dollars of each ticket sold will go to the Christine Proudfoot Student Activity Center being built at Copper Mountain College. This event takes place at the Power Stadium at 1901 E Baristo Road in Palm Springs. Tickets are available online at www.cmccd.edu/Foundation or at the Foundation Office on campus.
