COPPER MOUNTAIN COLLEGE SEEKING RE-ACCREDITATION

Copper Mountain College invites the community to attend an open forum on Monday, March 4, in the in Bell Center Community Room from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. to provide feedback about the college to the Accrediting Commission of Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC) .The purpose of accreditation is to help ensure that institutions of higher learning achieve, and maintain, a high level of quality and excellence. Accreditation also confers official acknowledgement that the institution’s educational quality is sufficient to meet the standards of the ACCJC and ensures that students can easily transfer credits earned at CMC to other colleges and universities.
