It’s scholarship season at Copper Mountain College – and the deadline for the 2023-2024 year is June 30th.Both new and returning students can apply for 26 scholarships through one online application.
Opportunities include two Science, Technology, Engineering and Math – or STEM – scholarships. Southern California Edison has a full and part-rime scholarship for those interested in pursuing a degree in Computer Information Systems, Programming, Science, Environmental Studies or Math.
The Sergeant Dominic Vaca Memorial Scholarship is available for students pursuing a Criminal Justice or Administration of Justice degree. Sergeant Vaca was killed in the line of duty on Memorial Day 2021, and recently had a memorial plaque and football tournament held in his honor.
Other scholarship opportunities exist in the EMT, VN and RN programs, as well as education, business and accounting, social sciences and general studies and academic merit scholarships.
