Copper Mountain College has announced the return to in-person classes in addition to online offerings for the upcoming fall semester. Reporter Cassidy Taylor has the details…
While subject to change, the in-person fall courses will potentially have reduced room capacities according to guidelines provided by the county of San Bernardino and the CDC. Although students will be back in person, the existing COVID mitigation protocols such as face coverings and social distancing are expected to still be in place for the fall term. CMC’s Facilities department will also continue to ensure proper cleaning and sanitation for all utilized spaces. With potentially reduced room capacities, there could be fewer seats in on-campus classes. CMC plans to add additional course sections where demand indicates, and students are encouraged to register for classes early and indicate interest in a “full” class by adding themselves to the waitlist.
