The Copper Mountain College Board of Trustees met yesterday in regular session. The virtual meeting began with the swearing in of the new Student Trustee, Steve Donoghue.

Among the reports given, summer course enrollment is thriving while fall enrollment is lacking. Low enrollment is credited to the uncertainty caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Associated Students of CMC introduced its new executive board for the 2020-2021 academic year in their report and the academic senate demonstrated advancements in online instruction. The tools presented help CMC counselors improve their ability to work with students. Student services rescheduled the May 2020 Commencement Ceremony to December 12, 2020 and the college expects the basketball season to begin February 1, 2021.
