COPPER MOUNTAIN COLLEGE PRESIDENT GETS $188,000 ANNUAL CONTRACT

The Board of Trustees had a lot to talk about in closed session. It was a hour later before they reconvened to open session and the second half of the meeting. The joint meeting of the board of trustees and the Morongo Unified School District has been finally set for Tuesday January 22. The Board finally returned to Superintendent/President Jeff Cummings’ contract which was tabled at the June meeting. The Board approved his contract unanimously. Effective July 1, 2018, Cummings will be paid $188,000 per year. The salary will be reviewed annually by the Board of Trustees.
