COPPER MOUNTAIN COLLEGE NURSES PINNING TONIGHT, GRADUATION TOMORROW

Copper Mountain College will recognize its Vocational Nursing Program and Registered Nursing Program Class of 2016 graduates. A Pinning Ceremony will take place on Wednesday, May 25, at 6:00 p.m. in the Bell Center Gymnasium at the Bell Center on the CMC campus.  The Pinning Ceremony is a time-honored celebration welcoming newly graduated students into the nursing profession. Speakers include Superintendent/President Jeff Cummings, Lieutenant Commander Esther M. Colbert, Dawn Page, and Heidi Steines. The student speakers will be Amber McGrath, Nichole Cauley, and Cortni Fike. In addition, the commencement ceremony for 2016 graduates will be held the following day, Thursday, May 26, at 5:45 p.m. in the Bell Center Gymnasium. The commencement ceremony speakers include keynote speaker David Smith, Superintendent for the Joshua Tree National Park; faculty speaker John Holley; and honor graduate speaker Shelley M. Nutaitis.
